Please join us for an evening of music with Martyn in support of The IAM Strong Foundation! During the first half of 2017, Martyn is touring throughout Europe, Canada and the United States, making a very purposeful stop in Westwood for this special event.

 

Come join us for a night of phenomenal music!

 

Please note: this is a 21+ event. Given we expect a large group for this event, we are holding it offsite at a log cabin lodge in Westwood. Due to venue policies, this will not be a BYOB event, but we will have a variety of beers and wines available for purchase.

 

If you've never seen Martyn, you can expect to hear his own music in addition to some highly acclaimed Bruce Springsteen covers.

 

About MARTYN:

Compared to Bruce Springsteen, John Mayer, Bruce Cockburn and Dave Matthews, Martyn has 32 CDs and has created his own style and reputation as a mesmerizing live performer. His talent is driven by passion, social awareness and a love for his trade. Rightfully, he has been recognized with various humanitarian awards and plaudits.

A jaw-dropping guitar player with a show-stopping voice, he is often called "The Welsh Springsteen." In 2013, Martyn released a CD of Bruce Springsteen covers, to great public and critical acclaim, with the glowing endorsement of Dave Marsh, the highly regarded American music critic and official Springsteen biographer.

 

His most recent CD Sanctuary was released in Autumn 2015 to great critical acclaim. The album was produced by Grammy award winner Ben Wisch and it musically pools myriad influences and is lyrically contemplative, honest and big-hearted – attributes that also convey a sense of both the artist and the individual. It’s impossible not to share his optimism for the collection.

Join us for a benefit yoga class to raise money & awareness for IAM Strong, an organization that works to shatter the stigma associated with teen mental health issues.

 

 Izzy Ortigoza & Maura Sweeney will lead girls ages 10-14 through an empowering yoga flow. All participants will receive an exclusive swag bag.

 

Class is donation based at the door ($10 recommendation). Checks can be made payable to the IAM Strong Foundation.
